We incorrectly went with De La Cruz to hit a home run not too long ago, but it’s simply been too long since his last home run.

He hasn’t hit one since June 23rd but with Carrasco posting a 9.26 road ERA and allowing five of his seven home runs on the road in 11.2 innings pitched, we think the Reds shortstop has an excellent chance to hit a home run tonight.

De La Cruz sports a .307 home batting average compared to a .258 road average as well as a .302 average against righties while sporting a .532 slugging percentage.

With this being the seventh straight home game for the Reds, let’s take De La Cruz to hit a home run tonight with odds listed at +290. Other Reds hitters to target for a home run prop includes Will Benson (+290) and Austin Hays (+360).

MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Josh Naylor (SEA) +560

In honor of trade deadline day in the MLB we’re going to go with newly acquired Josh Naylor to hit a home run for the Mariners tonight after being acquired by the team on July 24th.

In six games with the Mariners he’s 5-22 with a home run and we think he can hit his home run prop once again with his new team tonight against the Rangers.

Texas sends righty Kumar Rocker to the mound who has been atrocious on the road this season posting a 9.91 road ERA while allowing eight of his nine home runs on the road as well in 26.1 innings pitched.

Naylor is a lefty and when it comes to facing left handed batters, Rocker has been bad as well allowing them to bat .320 to go along with a .496 slugging percentage.

This will be Naylor’s first home game with his new team so he should get some sort of added motivation to show the fans why the team traded for him.

For what it’s worth when he was with Arizona he batted .324 at home to go along with a .478 slugging percentage.

With how short the slate is today take Naylor to hit his home run prop with odds listed at +560 with other Mariners to target for a home run including Cal Raleigh (+250) and Julio Rodriguez (+450).
