Best Home Run Prop Bets – MLB Free HR Props Picks
Tyler Soderstrom (ATH) +350
Tyler Soderstrom looks to extend his seven-game hitting streak tonight as the Athletics and Twins play the second game of their series in Minnesota.
Bailey Ober gets the start for the Twins who has been mediocre this season overall. He has given up 13 of his 24 total home runs at home and 15 of 24 home runs to left handed batters.
His recent form has been average at best as well allowing seven combined home runs across his last four starts.
Soderstrom has been crushing the ball in August batting .327 while posting a .582 slugging percentage and 19 of his 22 home runs coming against right handed pitching.
Soderstrom is 2-6 with a home run all-time against Ober with the Athletics outfielder also smacking 13 of his 22 home runs on the road this season.
Take Soderstrom to hit his home run prop tonight with odds listed at +350. Other Athletics batters to look at for a home run prop includes Shea Langeliers (+290) and Brent Rooker (+340).
MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Christian Yelich (MIL) +500
The Cubs won both games of yesterday’s double header between them and the Brewers as these two go at it once again tonight in Chicago.
Christian Yelich had a home run in game 1 of yesterday’s double header and we think he has a solid chance to hit his home run prop once again tonight. He’s been on fire in August so far batting .329 while slugging .614 including six home runs.
Righty Colin Rea gets the start for the Cubs who has allowed 14 of his 19 home runs during home starts, but Rea actually hasn’t allowed a home run across his last four starts (19.2 IP) so we think there is some regression to the means tonight.
Rea has allowed 13 of his 19 total home runs allowed to lefties while allowing them to post a .513 slugging percentage this season compared to right handed batters slugging just .357.
Yelich has performed better on the road overall this season batting .301 while slugging .506 on the road compared to batting just .222 with a .420 slugging percentage at home.
We get great value on Yelich’s home run prop tonight at +500 odds with other Brewers to look at for a home run prop includes Andrew Vaughn (+600) and William Contreras (+800).
