We’re going to target Nationals first baseman Josh Bell to hit a home run today batting .324 and slugging .479 in July so far.

Gusto had a disastrous outing last time he took the mound allowing eight earned runs including two home runs in 3.1 innings to the Athletics at home.

Overall on the season Gusto posts a 6.35 ERA when pitching at home compared to a 3.10 ERA on the road and has allowed 10 of his 13 home runs at home as well.

Bell has done most of his power damage on the road this season belting nine of his 13 home runs away from Nationals Park and 12 of 13 against right handed pitching.

Gusto has been hit hard by left handed bats all season allowing ten of his 13 home runs to left handed batters while also allowing a .573 slugging percentage compared to a .353 slugging percentage against righties.

It’s also worth noting that even Bell and Gusto have never faced off, Bell is 9-21 with four home runs combined against Houston relievers Steven Okert and Hector Neris.

Take Bell to hit a home run today at +540 with other Nationals batters to consider for a home run include James Wood (+420) and C.J. Abrams (+520).

MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Giancarlo Stanton (NYY) +210

Zack Littell and Giancarlo Stanton have never gone head-to-head in their career, but should tonight with Stanton getting the day off yesterday.

After giving up two home runs at Cincinnati his last time out, Littell leads the MLB in home runs given up this season with 26 with 18 of those coming on the road.

The Yankees are going to need a power boost from their lineup somewhere with Judge being out and Stanton fits the bill slugging six of his seven home runs this season against righties and five of his seven at home.

Stanton has a hit in nine of his last ten games and is slugging .646 in July after slugging just .270 in June after missing the first two and a half months of the season.

Littell has allowed 14 of his 26 home runs to right handed hitters so let’s take Stanton to hit his home run prop tonight with odds listed at +210.

Other Yankees batters to look at for a home run include Jazz Chisholm Jr. (+300) and Austin Wells (+400).
