The Angels shortstop is 5-10 with two home runs all time against Athletics starter JP Sears with one of those coming earlier this season.

Neto has been successful against lefties so far this season sporting a .607 slugging percentage compared to a .485 slugging percentage against righties this season.

Sears allowed two home runs in five innings pitched during his last start against the Orioles and allows a .513 slugging percentage to righties on the season.

Neto has been better when it comes to power during day games as well with a .308 batting average and .577 slugging percentage compared to a .266 average and .476 slugging percentage in night games.

He’s on his second longest home run drought of the season so let’s take Neto to hit a home run today at +320 with other Angels batters to consider for a home run being Joe Adell (+310) and Logan O’Hoppe (+350) who both have home runs off Sears in their respective careers as well.

MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Kerry Carpenter (DET) +360

With our success of taking a Tiger to hit a home run yesterday, we’re going with another today in Kerry Carpenter.

The Tigers outfielder had three home runs in one game on June 2 but is just 4-17 with two doubles since that day.

He got the day off yesterday aside from a pinch hit appearance as the Orioles send veteran Zach Eflin to the mound.

Carpenter is 2-5 with a home run all time against Eflin as the Orioles starter has had his struggles with left-handed batters this season.

He’s allowed lefties to bat .272 with a .583 slugging percentage compared to righties allowing a .243 average and .392 slugging percentage.

Eflin has allowed a combined eight home runs across his last four starts and last year at Camden yards Carpenter went 4-6 with two home runs.

Look for Carpenter to belt his 14th home run of the season today with odds listed at +320. Other Tigers hitters to look at for a home run include Riley Greene (+400) and Parker Meadows (+520).
