MLB Player Props Today for Monday: George Springer OVER 2.5 Runs + Hits + RBI (+115)

George Springer is one the hottest hitters in the MLB right now as he’s covered this runs + hits + RBI line in five of his last six games while hitting five home runs in the process.

Springer hasn’t faced Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Sean Burke, but he’s smashed right-handed pitching with a .300 batting average. Eleven of Springer’s 16 home runs this season have come against right-hand pitching.

Burke has held his own on the mound recently, but this Blue Jays lineup ranks sixth in wRC+ and fifth in wOBA against right-handed pitching during the last 30 days. The White Sox bullpen does rank eighth in ERA during the last 30 days but they are due for regression as they rank 24th in xFIP during the same time span.

Burke has a hit line set at 5.5 juiced -130 to the over and an earned runs allowed line set at 2.5 juiced -130 to the over. The books are clearly expecting for the Blue Jays to continue their hot streak at the dish and Springer will get plenty of opportunities while hitting in the two-hole.

MLB Player Props Today for Monday: Ketel Marte OVER 1.5 Runs + Hits + RBI (EV)

Ketel Marte has covered this line in five of his last eight games while hitting a home run in four of those games. Marte has seen a huge jump in barrel rate recently, improving his 17.1-percent seasonal rate to 25-percent during the last two weeks.

San Diego Padres starting pitcher Yu Darvish will be making his first start of the 2025 campaign tonight after recovering from an elbow injury. Marte has dominated Darvish historically, going 11-for-38 (.289) with two home runs and four free passes.

Darvish can’t be expected to pitch very deep into this contest and the Padres bullpen is heavily taxed after using five different relievers yesterday and four different relievers on both Friday and Saturday.

Marte is a switch-hitter that has thrived against right-handed pitching this season with .313 batting average and .631 slugging percentage. Petco Park is a great hitting environment for left-handed power hitters and Marte will be guaranteed a full nine innings of at-bats while playing on the road against vulnerable pitching.
