MLB Player Props Today for Thursday: Josh Naylor, Mariners OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-125)

Josh Naylor is a player that loves some home cooking as he’s covered this HRR line 69% of his games most of them during his time in Arizona.

Now he’s in Seattle and surrounded by hitters like Julio Rodriguez, Cal Raleigh & Eugenio Suarez and that sets him up for plenty of HRR opportunities.

Now Naylor gets another look at Chicago White Sox Shane Smith who he went 1-2 with a two RBI double against earlier this season.

Smith was solid early in the season, but he posted a 9.75 in July and he struggled in his first August outing against the Los Angeles Angels.

Naylor has feasted on right-handed pitching in general, posting a .293/.376/.467 slash line to go along with 10 home runs.

Smith hasn’t pitched past the 5th inning since mid-June, and the books are expecting him to get hit up as he has an earned run set at 2.5 (+100 the over) & a hits line set at 4.5 (-25 to the over).

Naylor has also sneakily led the MLB in stolen bases since the All-Star break (10) and that could put him in position for an additional run scored.

MLB Player Props Today for Thursday: Oneil Cruz, Pirates OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-115)

Oneil Cruz has been in a bit of a cold spell, but he has covered this line in 54% of his home games and he’s gone over in 4 of his last 6 home games against the Cincinnati Reds.

Now Cruz gets another crack at Brady Singer, who he’s gone 2-5 against with one free pass. Singer has struggled on the road where he’s posted a 5.73 ERA & .289 OBA compared to a 3.36 ERA and .211 OBA at Great American Ballpark.

Singer has logged two middle of the road outings against the Pittsburgh Pirates this season where he allowed a combined 5 earned runs across 10 innings of work (7 BB). Now Cruz & company get a 3rd look at him at the friendly confines of PNC Park.

The books are expecting for the Pirates to get some action on the basepaths as Singers earned run line is set at 2.5 (-105 to the over) and a hits line set at 5.5 (+100 to the over). We have a limited slate today and this is a great price for a slugger like Cruz.
