MLB Player Props Today for Monday: Jackson Chourio, Brewers Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-120)

Jackson Chourio is currently riding a 20-game hitting streak where he’s recorded 2+ HRR in 18 of those games.

During that run, we have seen Chourio log 31 hits, 17 RBI, 16 runs and a ridiculous 1.056 OPS. Chourio hasn’t faced Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Matthew Boyd, but he’s absolutely smashed left-handed pitching with a .357 batting average, .417 wOBA, .235 ISO and .980 OPS.

Boyd’s numbers are elite as he’s posted an 11-3 record, 2.20 ERA and 1.01 WHIP. However, Boyd is due for some regression as his xFIP sits at 3.77 and he hasn’t been as sharp on the road where his ERA is a 1/2 run higher.

Chourio has been a Cubs-killer as he’s logged a hit in 9 of his last 11 head-to-head games including 2+ HRR in 8 of those 11 games.

This a critical matchup between two teams tied for the lead in the NL Central and Chourio will be leading off while being backed by an inspired crowd.

MLB Player Props Today for Monday: Jackson Holiday, Orioles OVER 1.5 (-135)

Chourio isn’t the only Jackson swinging a hot stick as Holiday has recorded a hit in 15 of his last 20 games and 2+ HRR in 7 of his last 8 games.

During his last 8 games, Holiday has gone 12-36 (.333) with two home runs and a double. Now Holiday gets the opportunity to feast on Chris Bassitt who he’s gone 2-5 against with a home run.

Bassitt has been a very reliable starting pitcher for Toronto, but he’s really struggled on the road where he’s posted a 5.66 ERA (2.65 @ Home) and .284 OBA across 49.1 innings of work.

Holiday has thrived at home where he’s posted a .294 batting average & .837 OPS while clearing this HRR line in 55% of his games compared to only 48% of his road games.

Like Chourio, Holiday will be leading off at home in a divisional game with temperatures projected to be in the mid-90’s.
