MLB Player Props Today for Thursday: DJ LeMahieu, Yankees OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-110)

DJ Lemahieu has been cooking at the dish during a five-game hit streak where he’s cleared this HRR line in four straight games while going 6-13 (.462) with a home run and three RBI in the process.

Lemahieu has dominated his batter vs pitcher matchup against Seth Lugo, going 6-13 (.462) with three RBI. In his last three outings, Lugo has allowed 9 earned runs across only 14.1 innings of work while allowing five home runs in the process.

He’s backed by a Royals bullpen that’s trending in the wrong direction as they rank 6th in ERA on the season but 13th since May 1st.

The Yankees lineup is on fire with 6+ runs scored in five straight games including a combined 16 runs in the first two games of this series.

DJ is projected to bat 9th which could result in one less at-bat, but he is playing on the road with a guaranteed 9 full innings, and it also puts him in nice position to score some runs with the top of the Yankees lineup batting behind him.

MLB Player Props Today for Thursday: Oneil Cruz, Pirates UNDER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-135)

Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Jameson Taillon has dominated Pittsburgh Pirates leadoff hitter as he’s gone 0-11 without a single walk and four strikeouts.

Taillon has been lights out recently with five straight quality starts where he’s posted a 2.20 ERA across 32.2 innings of work.

Current Pirates are batting only .247 against Taillon with only one home run across 93 at-bats. Cruz as cleared this HRR line in three straight games but those were all played at home where Cruz has covered this number in 56% of his games compared to only 38% of his road games.

Taillon’s one weakness has been the long ball, but the Wind is blowing in at over 10 mph tonight at Wrigley Field.

Wrigley Field is the MLB park most affected by wind, and we have a full game total of only 7.5 tonight. Taillon has thrown 6+ innings in five straight games, and he’s backed by a bullpen that rank 6th with a 3.31 ERA.

I don’t see Cruz and company putting up much of fight tonight based on the pitching and weather conditions and that’s reflected in the -135-price tag.
