Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, situated on Notre-Dame Island in Montreal, is a 4.361 km (2.709 miles) semi-permanent street circuit known for its high-speed straights and tight chicanes.

Its layout combines long blasts down the main straight with heavy-braking zones at Sainte-Dévote, the Casino hairpin, and the island’s iconic wall-to-wall thrills at the final chicane—earning it the nickname “The Wall of Champions.”

The track’s flat topography and walls lining the course leave little margin for error, making qualifying performance crucial and punishing misjudgments.

It offers several prime overtaking opportunities, especially into Turn 1 and the chicane at Turns 10–11, leading to often exciting restarts and late-race drama.

The Canadian Grand Prix weekend is famous for its variable spring weather, with sudden rain showers frequently playing a strategic role in the race.

As a result, teams must stay adaptable, and drivers must be precise under constantly changing conditions.

Leclerc loves his home town track so he’ll be good here, and Hamilton showed a bit of promise last race with a 4th place finish and it comes down qualifying, and after screwing it up last week, they’ll be focused to get it right this week.

This prop has quietly cashed in 6 of the last 9 races and each of the last two. It cleared with ease last year, and this season sets up similarly.

If the two McLaren cars jump out front, they’ll be in equal machinery and likely stay glued together at the top—running nose-to-tail for most of the race. With no team dominating pace-wise, another tight finish looks very likely.

Oscar Piastri (+150) & Lando Norris (+200)

The McLarens are just way faster with race pace this season, and as long as they keep hanging both at plus money, we’ll keep playing both. As long as they qualify good, they’ll be the class of the field on race day.

Even if one of them struggles in qualifying, the other one should be near the front, and only Verstappen should have the speed to compete, but he doesn’t appear to have enough now to hold them off. I would expect a double podium from these guys with one of them winning the race.
