Expert NBA Player Props for Wednesday: Jalon Tyson, Cavaliers OVER 19.5 Points + Rebounds (-111)

The Cleveland Cavaliers are extremely short-handed with Evan Mobley, Sam Merrill & Larry Nance Jr on the shelf and Tyson has averaged 29 PR per 36 minutes with Mobley off the court.

Now Tyson is facing a Chicago Bulls defense that has allowed the 5th highest catch-&-shoot frequency during their last five games and Tyson thrives in that area.

Tyson already registered a 24 PR effort (17 Pts/7 Reb) against the Bulls in an early November game with Mobley on the court for 34 minutes.

You have to love Tyson’s rebounding upside tonight as Nikola Vucevic should draw Jarrett Allen from the paint leaving weakside boards available.

Tyson has cleared this line in 11/15 games (73%) when playing 25+ minutes while averaging 22.3 PR per game and he should see that time with Mobley and company unavailable.

The Cavaliers are favored by -5.5 but the total is through the roof at 242.5 so there should be plenty of room for Tyson to beat this number.

Expert NBA Player Props for Wednesday: Donte DiVincenzo, Timberwolves OVER 14.5 Points (+102)

The Minnesota Timberwolves are another short-handed team with Mike Conley on the shelf (Achilles) and Anthony Edwards listed as questionable due to a foot injury.

Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch said Edwards wasn’t anywhere near ready a few days back so we have to assume that Ant will be limited at best.

DiVincenzo has cleared this line in 4/6 games without Edwards on the court while averaging 18 points per game and landing on 14 & 12 in the two games where he fell short.

Now DiVincenzo is facing a Memphis Grizzlies team that has allowed the 5th most three-point attempts and 9th highest three-point percentage during their last 10 games.

DiVincenzo should thrive in this matchup as he’s averaged 9+ three-point attempts per game without Edwards on the floor.

The Timberwolves are -7.5-point home favorites, but this should be close if Edwards is out and we have a relatively high total at 230.5.
