Expert NBA Player Props for Wednesday: Rudy Gobert, Minnesota Timberwolves UNDER 19.5 Points + Rebounds (-120)

Rudy Gobert has fallen short of this line in 7/8 games against teams that rank top 20 in points + rebounds allowed to opposing centers on the season while averaging only 15.3 PR per game.

Gobert has actually logged 24 PR exactly in four straight games, but these were in weak matchups against Sacramento, Phoenix, Washington and Dallas.

Now Gobert is facing an Oklahoma City Thunder team that has allowed the 3rd fewest PR to opposing centers with 29.8 per game.

Gobert scores 86% of his points in the restricted area and the Thunder rank #1 in defending that area. Oklahoma City also ranks #2 in putback, and transition points allowed and that accounts for another 42% of Gobert’s points.

The Thunder are -8.5-point home favorites, and they should give a maximum effort with this being an NBA Cup game.

This feels like a great sell high spot on Gobert as he faces a Thunder team that he’s logged 15 PR or less against in 5 of his last 6 head-to-head matchups.
