Obviously two overtime periods helped Sengun’s cause, but he logged only 4 rebounds and 0 assists during his extra time.

Now Sengun is facing a Detroit Pistons team that Nikola Vucevic just recorded 16 RAs against on opening night.

Sengun will draw Jalen Duren defensively which is great for rebounding upside as Duren rarely leaves the paint if ever.

With Fred VanVleet on the shelf, Sengun is more involved as a facilitator as the Houston Rockets figure things out at point guard with Amen Thompson & Reed Sheppard.

Sengun has covered this line in 7 straight games dating back to last season and it’s the Rockets home opener so he should see another 30+ minutes tonight in Houston.
