NBA Player Prop for Monday, November 10

Nikola Vucevic (CHI) Over 3.5 Assists vs San Antonio (+135)

The Bulls’ center has only gone over this number twice in the last five games, but with Victor Wembanayama patrolling the paint on the other side averaging four blocks per game, Vucevic may need to be more of a facilitator tonight.

The Spurs have allowed the fourth-most assists per game to opposing centers so far this season. Rockets center Alperen Sengun had eight assists against the Spurs three days ago. Vucevic is coming off a four-assist performance against the Cavaliers, who generally look to protect the paint in the same way that San Antonio does.

Bulls’ guard Josh Giddey has been battling an ankle injury, and if he is limited, that provides even more support for Vucevic to serve as the Bulls’ primary passer on Monday.

NBA Betting Trends for Monday, November 10

#515 Los Angeles Lakers at #516 Charlotte Hornets

Charlotte beat the Lakers as a 12.5-point ‘dog last season. The Hornets did not play over the weekend so they should be well-rested for this one. Charlotte is 1-5 straight-up and against the spread over its last six games. Each of the Hornets’ last five games have stayed under the total. The Lakers had their five-game winning streak snapped with a 20-point loss in Atlanta on Saturday.

#517 Portland Trailblazers at #518 Orlando Magic

Portland earned a pair of outright upset wins last season, beating the Magic as a ‘dog of 5+ points in both contests. Nine of the last ten meetings have stayed under the total, including both of last year’s contests as Orlando scored 90 and 79 points in those games. Portland is coming off a 136-131 loss in Miami on Saturday. Five of the Blazers’ last six games have gone over the total. Orlando is on the second leg of a back-to-back after losing at home to the Celtics on Sunday. The Magic have been favored in every game played so far this season, yet Orlando is just 4-6 straight-up, 3-7 against the spread (1-4 ATS at home).

#519 Washington Wizards at #520 Detroit Pistons

Washington has been a small thorn in the Pistons’ side over the last two seasons. The Wizards have earned three outright upset victories over Detroit, including a 129-125 win in March as a 13.5-point road ‘dog. Six of the last eight meetings have stayed under the total. Washington is 1-9 straight-up and against the spread this season. The Wizards are coming off a six-point home loss to the Mavericks on Saturday. Detroit is on the second leg of a back-to-back after earning a hard-fought road win in Philadelphia on Sunday. Detroit is 6-0 straight-up, 5-1 against the spread in its last six contests.

#521 Cleveland Cavaliers at #522 Miami Heat

Cleveland earned a four-game sweep over Miami in the opening round of last year’s playoffs. The Heat did cover the spread as a ‘dog in two of the three regular season meetings before getting crushed in the playoff series. Seven of the last nine meetings have gone over the total but this opening number in the mid-240s is significantly higher than any total in those prior contests (previous high was 225.5 in January). Both teams are on equal rest after playing on Saturday. The Heat have earned back-to-back home wins over the Hornets and Blazers while Cleveland has won four-straight games heading into Monday.

#523 San Antonio Spurs at #524 Chicago Bulls

Chicago has won six-straight meetings in this cross-conference matchup, including a pair of outright upset victories as a small ‘dog last year. Both teams are on equal rest after playing on Saturday. The Spurs earned a pair of home wins over the Rockets and Pelicans. San Antonio’s last four games have all gone over the total. Chicago dropped back-to-back road games in Milwaukee and Cleveland.

#525 Milwaukee Bucks at #526 Dallas Mavericks

Milwaukee has won each of the last six meetings in this cross-conference matchup (5-0-1 ATS). The Bucks have scored an average of 126.7 points per game in those six victories. Last year’s contests cleared their respective totals by 20 and 18.5 points. Milwaukee is on the second leg of a back-to-back after falling at home to the Rockets on Sunday. The Bucks had a lead in the final minutes before Houston closed the game on an impressive run. Six of Dallas’ last seven games have stayed under the total.

#527 New Orleans Pelicans at #528 Phoenix Suns

The underdog has earned an outright upset win in five of the last six meetings between the Suns and Pelicans. Four of the last five meetings have gone over the total, including both of last year’s contests. Both teams are on equal rest after playing on Saturday. New Orleans has covered the spread in four of its last five games. Phoenix has covered the spread in five of its last six games, and the lone loss came by a half-point (lost by 11 at Golden State as a 10.5-point ‘dog). Five of the Suns’ last six games have stayed under the total.

#529 Minnesota Timberwolves at #530 Utah Jazz

These teams just played on Friday with Minnesota earning a 40-point home win as a 12.5-point favorite. The Timberwolves have won nine of the last ten meetings (7-3 ATS). Utah has not played since that loss on Friday, so the Jazz should be well-rested for this one. That game in Minneapolis was the final game of a five-game road trip for the Jazz. Minnesota is on the second leg of a back-to-back after winning in Sacramento on Sunday. Six of the T-Wolves’ last seven games have gone over the total.

#531 Atlanta Hawks at #532 Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers won-and-covered both meetings last season with victories by 26 and 23 points. Both teams are on equal rest after playing on Saturday. This is the first game of a lengthy West Coast road trip for the Hawks, who beat the Lakers by 20 in Atlanta on Saturday. The Clippers have lost four-straight games and Los Angeles is 1-8 against the spread this season. The Clippers have scored an average of 106.0 points per game in their last six contests (four were played at home).
