NFL Week 3 Anytime Touchdown Props Prediction: Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh Steelers (+100)

Kenneth Gainwell led the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week1 snap share as Jaylen Warren was only on the field for 45% of the plays but Warren got the nod in Week 2 as he led the running backs with 58% of the snaps.

Warren has now accounted for 61% of the Steelers rushing attempts as he’s seen an average of 15.5 carries per game.

The 26-year-old running back has been the go-to guy in red area as he’s seen 8/13 red zone looks and 3 of their 7-goal line looks.

It has only resulted in one touchdown but now he’s facing a New England Patriots defense that allowed rookie running back Ashton Jeanty score on ground in Week 1 and Dolphins running back De’Von Achane to score through the air in Week 2.

The Patriots have allowed opponents to score touchdowns on 66.7% of their red zone drives on 6.55 total net yards per play which is the 2nd worst in the NFL.

Aaron Rodgers doesn’t have the arm strength that he used to, and he should continue to lean on Warren, especially in the red area.

NFL Week 3 Anytime Touchdown Props Prediction: CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys (-112)

If there was ever a player overdue to find the end zone, it’s CeeDee Lamb who has caught 7 passes for 110 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles and 9 passes for 112 yards against the New York Giants while logging a team high first read rate of 33.9%. 

Now Lamb gets an opportunity to feast on a Chicago Bears defense that has ranks 4th worst in EPA/Pass allowed and they have been decimated by injuries starting with Jaylon Johnson who is out indefinitely, and fellow cornerbacks Kyle Gordon & Jaylon Jones missed practice on Wednesday. 

Amon-Ra St Brown thrives out of the slot like Lamb, and he logged 115 yards and a touchdown on 9 receptions against the Bears last week.

Justin Jefferson didn’t have a massive game against the Bears in Week 1, but he did find paydirt so #1 receivers have scored against Chicago in back-to-back weeks. 

New Chicago defensive coordinator Dennis Allen doubled Lamb in his last matchup when he coached the Saints and Lamb still registered a touchdown on 90 receiving yards.

The Bears won’t have that luxury with George Pickens on the field. Allen tends to play two-high defense at an above average rate and Lamb performs better against that defense than Pickens.

This game features the highest total on the Week 3 slate at 50.5 and we have seen massive games from Lamb against better defenses so far.
