NFL Week 12 First Touchdown Props Prediction: Kenneth Walker III, Seattle Seahawks (+600)

The Seattle Seahawks are the biggest favorites of Week 12 (-13.5), and they have scored first in 6/10 games while the anemic Tennessee Titans offense has only struck first in 2/10 games.

Kenneth Walker III hasn’t scored first yet this season, but he did find the end zone on anytime touchdown last week against the Los Angeles Rams.

Walker has seen a tremendous uptick in snap percentage in three games since the Seahawks bye with 48.4% snap rate compared to 41.4% prior to the bye and his red zone snap percentage has also increased from 32.8% to 40.6% since the bye.

The Titans have allowed the 2nd most running back rushing touchdowns (12) and the 8th most running back receiving yards (109/game).

Zach Charbonnet does have 28 red zone carries to Walker’s 25, but Walker leads him 8/6 during the last three games.

I definitely see Seattle striking first and Walker’s increased workload makes him a worthy play at 6-1 odds.

NFL Week 12 First Touchdown Props Prediction: Jameson Williams Detroit Lions (+900)

Generally, we are looking at Jahmyr Gibbs for first touchdown props when it comes to Detroit Lions games, but Jameson Williams is an interesting look after he scored first (DET only TD) against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 10.

Williams has thrived in two games since head coach Dan Campbell took over the playcalling for the Detroit Lions as he’s caught 4/7 targets for 88 yards & a touchdown and 6/7 targets for 119 yards a touchdown.

Williams has now scored a touchdown in each of his last three games, 4 of his last 5 games and 5 of his last 9 games.

Now Williams has an opportunity to feast on a New York Giants defense that allowed the 5th most receiving yards (181.6/game) and 8th most touchdowns (11) to opposing wide receivers after Christian Watson scored twice against them in Week 11.

Williams has thrived against man coverage, and the Giants play that coverage at the 2nd highest rate in the NFL.

Sam Laporta is on the shelf with a back injury and Williams has excelled in two games without him during the last two seasons, logging four receptions and a touchdown in both games to go along with 88 & 124 yards.

The Lions and Giants are basically equal in scoring first this season but with Detroit being favored by -10.5 I like their chances to strike first.
