Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season kicks off with a primetime Seahawks vs Cardinals NFC West showdown on Thursday Night Football. Sportmemo’s Steve Seagrave is eyeing the top player props for Week 4, with star names like Sam Darnold and Kyler Murray featured in the spotlight.

NFL Thursday Night Football Props Prediction: Sam Darnold, Seahawks OVER 221.5 Passing Yards (-120)

Sam Darnold has only eclipsed this line in 1 of 3 games to open the season with a 295-yard effort in Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

However, Darnold didn’t need to pass as much in Week 3 as he landed on 218 passing yards in a 31-point blowout against the New Orleans Saints and he faced a brutal San Francisco 49ers pass defense in Week 1.

The Arizona Cardinals have allowed the 3rd most passing yards (275.3/game) and MOST passing attempts (47.3/game) through the first three weeks of the 2025 campaign.

We have seen all 2 of 3 opposing quarterbacks clear this number as Bryce Young logged 328 passing yards, Mac Jones logged 284 yards and Spencer Rattler landed on 214 yards.

Zach Charbonnet has logged a full practice in back-to-back days, but I see this a higher scoring contest regardless and this line seems a bit low for Darnold.

NFL Thursday Night Football Props Prediction: Kyler Murray, Cardinals OVER 21.5 Pass Completions (+102)

The Arizona Cardinals have been a ground and pound team under offensive coordinator Drew Petzing thus far but with the season-ending injury to running back James Conner they will have to rely more on the passing game moving forward.

Trey Benson and Emari Demercado won’t be able to sustain that style of offense and Benson isn’t quite built for a full workload yet as he’s logged 9 carries or less in 13 of his 16 games.

The Cardinals are also facing a Seattle Seahawks run defense that ranks top 5 in run defense according to PFF.

We have seen all three opposing quarterbacks post top 12 passing grades on short throws against Seattle and 2 of 3 have eclipsed this line as Spencer Rattler completed 28 passes, Aaron Rodgers completed 18 passes and Brock competed 26 passes.

Murray ranks 13th in passing completion percentage and 11th in passing completion percentage under 10 air yards.

Head coach Jonathan Gannon should be focused on short completions and sustained drives, and Murray should be able to connect with tight end Trey McBride over the middle.

I also really like Murray’s passing attempts line over 31.5 and he’s cleared this completions line in 18 of his last 20 games (90%) when throwing 31+ passes.
