NFL Week 17 Touchdown Props Prediction: James Cook Buffalo Bills (+100)

We need to play James Cook at this price based on his workload in the red area where he’s logged 22 carries in his last four games alone while ranking 3rd (tied) in red zone carries with 52 on the season.

Cook has recorded back-to-back multiple touchdown games (5) while scoring in 4 of his last 6 games and 60% of his games on the season.

The Philadelphia Eagles are tied for the 10th most running back rushing touchdowns (12) and 5th most running back receiving touchdowns allowed (4).

Cook doesn’t get a ton of work in the passing game but he’s good for a consistent 2 or 3 grabs a game. In Week 17, Chris Rodriguez Jr and Jacory Croskey-Merritt both found the end zone against the Eagles.

This is critical game for the Buffalo Bills as they fight for playoff positioning and their playing at home while Philadelphia may let down a bit after clinching the NFC East. Look for Buffalo to continue to feed Cook on Sunday afternoon.

NFL Week 17 Touchdown Props Prediction: Xavier Smith LA Rams (+600)

Davante Adams has again missed practice this week as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury that forced him to miss a crucial game against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 16.

Xavier Smith becomes the 2nd or 3rd option at wide receiver for Los Angeles without Adams on the field and he caught both of his targets last week for a total of 54 yards.

Smith is a speedy home run hitter, and he proved that last week with a 48-yard reception against Seattle. Now he gets an opportunity to exploit an Atlanta Falcons team that has allowed big plays to that position in recent weeks as Michael Wilson (ARZ) caught a 32-yard pass and Mike Evans (TB) caught a 45-yard pass.

The Falcons have allowed the 4th most wide receiver touchdowns with 18 on the season. The Rams are -7.5-point road favorites in a game with a total set at 49.5.

Their team total is set at 29.5 (-125 to the over) so we could easily see a score out of Smith even if the usual suspects hit paydirt in the ATL.
