Dolphins vs Bills Player Props for Week 3!

Week 3 of the 2025 NFL season kicks off with a primetime AFC East showdown as the Miami Dolphins take on the Buffalo Bills on Thursday Night Football. Sportmemo’s Steve Seagrave is eyeing the top player props for Week 3, with star names like James Cook and Tyreek Hill featured in the spotlight.

NFL Thursday Night Football Props Prediction: James Cook, Bills OVER 82.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (-120)

James Cook has logged 102+ rushing + receiving yards in three straight games including each of his first two games of the 2025 campaign with 135 yards against the New York Jets and 102 yards against the Baltimore Ravens.

Cook also cleared this line in 1 of his 2 head-to-head games against the Miami Dolphins during the 2024 season with 69 and 95 all-purpose yards.

The Dolphins have been vulnerable against opposing running backs as they have allowed the 5th most rushing attempts and 9th most rushing yards to opposing running backs.

Miami has allowed an opposing running back to eclipse this number in each of their first two games as Rhamondre Stevenson recorded 142 all-purpose yards and Jonathan Taylor recorded 98 all-purpose yards.

Backs have also found success through the air as Taylor registered 27 receiving yards, and Stevenson registered 88 receiving yards while his teammate TreVeyon Henderson registered 30 receiving yards in the same game.

There is the potential for thunderstorms and/or scattered showers on Thursday night and both teams will be dealing with a quick turnaround so the running & short passing game should be utilized heavily.

NFL Thursday Night Football Props Prediction: Tyreek Hill, Dolphins OVER 22.5 Longest Reception (-110)

We have seen some emotional outbursts out of Tyreek Hill early in the season and it’s pretty clear that Tua Tagovailoa is forcing the ball in his direction.

“Cheetah” cleared this line with a 47-yard reception against the New England Patriots in Week 2 after falling just short with a 21-yard reception while logging only 40 receiving yards against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1.

The Buffalo Bills kept New York Jets receivers under this line in Week 2, but they were exposed in a Week 1 shootout where Zay Flowers caught a 39-yard pass in the same game where DeAndre Hopkins caught a 29-yarder.

The Bills defense has done a solid job containing Hill, but he did catch a 28-yard pass in his last head-to-head game at Orchard Park.

Christian Benford is very strong cornerback, but he won’t be covering Hill throughout the entire game and Hill has amazing speed that can beat anyone.

There is potential for thunderstorms and/or scattered showers on Thursday night, and Hill will have the advantage of knowing which direction he will running in.

The Bills offense has been a juggernaut, and they are favored by -12.5 points so we should see a pass heavy game script where Tua looks for Hill early & often.
