Manchester United vs Newcastle | December 26 | 3:00 PM ET

Manchester United +150 | Newcastle +165 | Draw +250

With Diallo, Mazraoui and Mbeumo currently involved in December and January’s African Cup of Nations, Manchester United were handed yet another blow last week as long-time captain Bruno Fernandes was forced out of United’s 2-1 loss against Aston Villa with a soft tissue injury.

That leaves United extremely vulnerable ahead of this one in terms of key personnel as along with the absence of their African stars, and captain Bruno Fernandes, they also have more long-standing injuries to Mainoo and de Ligt as well.

That vulnerability in midfield and defense has seen United give up an average of 2.00 GPG to opponents across December, yet they’ve scored 2.50 GPG at the other end to offset this defensive weakness.

Newcastle, meanwhile, came off an entertaining 2-2 draw against Chelsea last week, yet there’s no question that the Magpies will be the more disappointed of the two teams letting their two-goal lead in that game get squandered.

Manchester United have kept just one clean sheet at home so far this season, with Newcastle putting four past them the last time they met each other back in April. This could be another high-scoring encounter on Friday night in a game that both teams have the ability to create havoc in.

Premier League Predictions: Over 3 (+100)

West Ham vs Fulham | December 27 | 10:00 AM ET

West Ham +165 | Fulham +160 | Draw +230

It’s been a tough 2025 for West Ham so far, potentially finishing the year second-from-bottom overall after suffering yet another loss last weekend to high-flying Manchester City.

However, despite all their recent struggles, West Ham’s performances have been getting better of late, with their second-from-bottom season-long defensive xGA numbers at home for example, moving up to 7th-from-bottom since November 1st.

Fulham, meanwhile, have managed to put back-to-back wins together in the Premier League for only the second-time since September after a close 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest at home last week. Raul Jiminez’s penalty was the deciding factor in that game, yet it is a worrying sign that Fulham’s 0.11 xG per shot ratio this season is the joint-4th worst return in the league overall in terms of creating clear-cut scoring chances in front of goals.

Another factor is that in terms of creating chances in dangerous areas this season, West Ham have actually outrstripped Fulham so far, owning a higher percentage of chances created inside their opponent’s 6-yard and 18-yard boxes this year compared with Fulham’s more chances created outside their opponent’s box.

With six points currently separating themselves from safety, West Ham need a huge lift to end the year here, and we believe they can get just that at home against a short-handed Fulham side on Saturday.

Premier League Predictions: West Ham +0 [PK] (-109)

Chelsea vs Aston Villa | December 27 | 12:30 PM ET

Chelsea -130 | Aston Villa +300 | Draw +280

Saturday’s late game sees two of the league’s top-four sides clash in what should be a cracking game down in London this weekend.

No team has come close to touching how good Aston Villa have been in the form table of late, averaging 3.00 PPG across their last six games, and 2.70 PPG across their last ten also to sit as the hottest property in the Premier League across the last few months.

That was on display once again last week as Villa overcame Manchester United 2-1 at home to register their tenth straight victory across all competitions.

However, despite their excellent form, only three of those ten wins came accompanied via a clean sheet, once against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Europa League, and twice against low-ranking Wolves and Bournemouth in the Premier League.

Chelsea will present a far more strenuous test for this Aston Villa backline on Saturday as the Blues have failed to score in just two of their 17 games so far this season, the league’s second-best record overall behind only league-leaders Arsenal.

On top of this, Villa away from home this season have been far more vulnerable as well, managing to keep a clean sheet in 44% of their home games so far, yet with this number dwindling to just 13% when playing on the road.

With a current total set at 2.75 juiced towards the Over in this one, this game looks like we could see chances created at either end, and Chelsea should be chief among those threats playing at home on Saturday.

Premier League Prediction: Chelsea Team Total Over 1.5 (-127)
