Brighton vs Tottenham | September 20 | 10:00 AM ET
Brighton +130 | Tottenham +200 | Draw +250
High-flying Tottenham travel to Brighton on Saturday looking to keep the pace at the top of the table alongside Liverpool and Arsenal.
Spurs have been fantastic at both ends of the pitch this season, sitting joint-4th in goals scored (2.0 GPG), and an even better joint-1st in goals allowed (0.25 GAPG), with all three of their victories so far coming by shutout.
They face a Brighton side in this one that has struggled to open their 2025/26 campaign, generating just one win overall, a surprise 2-1 victory against Manchester City, and have allowed multiple goals in two of their last three Premier League starts also.
However, Brighton’s underlying data has been much better at home, ranking 5th overall in terms of offensive xG, and they’ve allowed the joint-7th fewest shots to opponents defensively as well.
A major concern for the Seagulls ahead of this game, however, is the fact that half of their goals scored have come from penalties this season, and they’ll need to show much greater ability from open play if they’re going to penetrate this Tottenham defense on Saturday.
Each of the last two meetings at the Amex Stadium between Spurs and Brighton have gone well over the total, yet the four preceding those finished with at least one of the teams drawing a scoring blank. We believe that could well be the case once again this weekend.
Premier League Predictions: Under 2.75 (-105)
Manchester United vs Chelsea | September 20 | 12:30 PM ET
Manchester United +170 | Chelsea +145 | Draw +250
One of the biggest games in the Premier League this weekend sees a rampant Chelsea side take on old rivals Manchester United in a big bounce-back game for both teams on Saturday.
Chelsea’s pace with table-toppers Liverpool took a hit last weekend as they came out with an unexpected 2-2 draw against Brentford.
Despite the Bees taking the early lead in that game, Chelsea roared back to take the 2-1 lead late, only for Brentford’s Fabio Carvalho to even it up deep into injury time to hand the Blues their second stalemate of the season.
Chelsea are, however, playing well, at least domestically, sitting as one of only three teams so far that have yet to lose a game, as well as joint-1st in scoring offense also.
The same cannot be said of this Manchester United team, who came off an incredibly disappointing 3-0 loss to cross-town rivals Manchester City last weekend, with United creating just 0.03 xG and one shot in the first-half of that game, drawing immense criticism from both fans and critics alike.
Despite United’s issues in placing the ball in the back of the net in the Premier League this season, it certainly hasn’t been for the lack of trying, as no team in the league has generated more total shots this season than the Red Devils have (17.5 SPG).
However, with Chelsea allowing just one goal from open play this year, as well as each of the last two meetings between the teams witnessing an average of just 1.5 goals per game being scored also, we could well end up seeing another Under cash here on Saturday.
Premier League Predictions: Under 3 (-125)
Sunderland vs Aston Villa | September 21 | 9:00 AM ET
Sunderland +270 | Aston Villa +105 | Draw +220
Not many teams in Europe have endured a worse start to their domestic season than Aston Villa has in 2025/26.
Finishing 6th last year in the Premier League, as well as quarter-finalists in the Champions League also, the wheels look to have well and truly come off Unai Emery’s steam train to start this campaign, with goalkeeper Emi Martinez’s back door texts to Manchester United on the final day of the transfer window being just one example of the low morale at the club, and leaving fans sour in the process.
That said, Aston Villa have certainly proven themselves difficult to beat, nonetheless, with Martinez doing his job effectively last week in denying Everton in front of goals, as well as Newcastle back in Week 1 also.
It hasn’t been in defense where the majority of Villa’s struggles have come from this season, however, but in offense, ranking as the only team in the league yet to score a single goal this season, and creating very little either, sitting only marginally ahead of Wolves at the bottom of the xG table.
Sunderland have been far from goal machines themselves this season, averaging a healthy 1.25 GPG, but have been strong defensively, especially at home, where they rank joint-3rd in the league, behind only Arsenal and Liverpool, in terms of goals allowed.
This is a huge game for Villa on Sunday, and one they can ill afford to lose either. Expect a cagey affair up in the north-east this weekend.
Premier League Prediction: Under 2.25 (-115)
