Carrington has scored 15+ points in 5 of 8 games on the season and now she’s facing a Los Angeles Sparks team that has the 4th worst defensive rating.

The Sparks do a solid job against opposing guards, but they allow the 4th most points at the rim where Carrington scores 63% of her points.

Carrington cleared this line in 3 of 4 head-to-head games last season including two 19-point efforts and she landed on 12 points in the lone game where she fell short.

The total in this contest has been bet all the way up to 174 (opened 170.5) and the spread is set at -2.5 so this should be a close game with plenty of scoring opportunities.

Expert WNBA Props for Friday: Dearica Hamby, Sparks OVER 16.5 Points (-125)

Dearica Hamby has scored at will in head-to-head games against the Dallas Wings, clearing this line in 6 straight games and 7 of her last 8 games.

That includes all four games last season where Hamby scored 21, 27, 19 and 22 points. The Dallas Wings own the 3rd worst defensive rating in the WNBA, and they allow the 3rd most points with 88.4 per game.

Dallas has really struggled against opposing forwards as we have seen Nneka Ogwumike score 14 & 23 points, Ariel Atkins score 26 points, Tina Charles score 27 points (Mabry 19 Pts same game) and Napheesa Collier score 28 & 34 points.

Angel Reese only scored 14 and 6 points, but she really isn’t known as an accurate shooter. Hamby has only covered this line in 3 of 8 games on the season but she has always been in the ballpark with 14+ points in four of the games where she fell short.

This matchup should put Hamby over this line and we again have a huge total (174) with a close spread (-2.5).
