HellRaisers vs. AVEZ Preview & Prediction - Free CS:GO Betting Picks 8/8

The Eden Arena Malta Vibes Cup 6 Playoffs are set to begin, and we have a quarterfinal contest upcoming between HellRaisers and AVEZ. The Playoffs stage features the top eight teams from the Group Stage participating in a single-elimination bracket. All matches within the Playoffs stage are scheduled as best-of-three map matches. There's a lot on the line here as the winner will be locked in to an event payout of at least $2,500 USD while the loser will leave empty-handed.

HellRaisers comes into this battle with the 56th ranking in the world. It hasn't exactly been smooth sailing for HellRaisers lately, but they do have a win rate of 50% across all their matches over the last three months. All five of HellRaisers' players have average stats around the same, and they tend to be consistent while relying on a team effort. Overpass is the team's normal ban, and Nuke or Inferno can easily be identified as their best map.

Their opponent for this match will be the 52nd ranked Polish squad of AVEZ. The team has won 53.1% of their matches over the past three months, and they have been inconsistent. However, when AVEZ's players are playing good, they play VERY good. Mirage is the normal map ban for AVEZ, and they've been known to struggle when playing on both Inferno and Dust2 as well. Their anchor is KEi, and much of their success is based around the play of the 19 year old.

Pick: Over 2.5 Maps (+105 @ Pinnacle)

I am on the over for this quarterfinal contest. This is one of those odd battles where both teams have shown superior qualities while they have both shown signs of weakness as well. AVEZ tends to rely on the play of KEi to carry the team while HellRaisers relies on more of a team effort with certain players carrying on certain maps. It's hard for a team to sweep when they are being carried by one player, and HellRaisers hasn't been very good at sweeping contests either. I'm playing the over for this one as I fully expect to see a third map in this series.
