In the Eastern Conference, the Celtics remain the odds-on favorites. Their odds have even improved slightly since the addition of Kristap Porzingas. Rumors of another big deal from Boston could alter the team’s odds in the coming weeks. The Bucks’ odds rose as the team seems to be going status quo, resigning both Kris Middleton and Brook Lopez. The team that made the biggest move, not surprisingly, is the Heat. Miami is the odds-on favorite to grab Dame Lillard in a deal at this point. With the losses of several of the team’s key utility players already, the Dame deal almost has to happen. The biggest dropper was the Wizards. The team parted ways with Porzingas and Beal and the rebuild is now in full effect.

In the Eastern Conference, things stayed nearly status quo with only Phoenix seeing a slight improvement in their odds. The Suns parted ways with floor general Chris Paul but added Bradley Beal as well as veteran Eric Gordon to give the team more punch off the bench. The Nuggets lost key bench player Bruce Brown in free agency but kept G Reggie Jackson, who could play a larger role next season while also adding SG Justin Holliday. They remain the odds-on favorite in the Western Conference while still fielding the deadly one-two punch of Jokic and Murray. The Mavericks were able to keep G Irving but that didn’t make much of a ripple in the team’s odds as the Mavs still lack much depth. The biggest loser appears to be the Trail Blazers as the team waits to move on from Dame Lillard in the coming weeks.
