NFL Elite Eleven (Week 7 Edition)

NFL Elite Eleven (Week 7 Edition)

There are just two undefeated teams in the NFL and both were off last week. The Lions and Texans are rising and the Cowboys can’t get to their bye fast enough. Let’s dive into the Elite Eleven teams heading into Week 7 of the 2024 NFL season.

NFL Elite Eleven (Week 7 Edition): Bye for now: Dallas and Denver. Welcome (back) to the Party: Pittsburgh and Green Bay.

#11. Green Bay Packers 4-2 (+850/+1800) - The Packers are back in the Elite Eleven after dismantling Arizona at home. Next up is a huge non-conference matchup with Houston this week. Last Week’s Ranking: Unranked

#10. Washington Commanders 4-2 (+1500/+3000) - The Commanders held their own on the road against the Ravens but showed a weakness against a good ground game. They can get back in the win column this week with a home date against Carolina. Last Week’s Ranking: 5th

#9. Pittsburgh Steelers 4-2 (+2000/+4000) - The Steelers are back in the Elite Eleven after grinding out a home win over an undermanned Vegas team last week. Look who is getting ready to return: Russell Wilson is taking first team reps ahead of Sunday night’s game against the Jets. Last Week’s Ranking: Unranked

#8. Tampa Bay Bucs 4-2 (+1700/+3500) - Tampa Bay’s offense dominated the proceedings in New Orleans last week despite an off-day from their defense. Things pick up this week with a matchup against Baltimore at home. Last Week’s Ranking: 10th

#7. Buffalo Bills 4-2 (+550/+1200) - The Bills picked up a tight win over the Jets on Monday night but their biggest win may have been on Tuesday after acquiring Amari Cooper to give Josh Allen a true #1 WR. They battle Tennessee at home this week. Last Week’s Ranking: 7th

#6. Atlanta Falcons 4-2 (+1200/+2500) - The Falcons gave QB Kirk Cousins a day off this week and pounded Carolina with their RB duo of Allgier and Robinson. The Falcons can make it four straight wins with a victory over Seattle at home this week. Last Week’s Ranking: 9th

#5. Baltimore Ravens 4-2 (+300/+700) - Here come the Ravens. They won again this week over the Commanders making it four in a row after losing their first two games. Next up for Baltimore is a Monday night game at Tampa. Last Week’s Ranking: 6th

#4. Detroit Lions 4-1 (+370/+850) - The Lions steamrolled the Cowboys in Dallas this week but the bigger story is the loss of DE Aiden Hutchinson to a broken leg. The Lions will now be on the lookout for help on the edge. This week, they match up with undefeated Minnesota on the road. Last Week’s Ranking: 6th

#3. Houston Texans 4-1 (+550/+1200) - The Texans did what they needed to do in a win at New England last week. If Mixon continues to thrive out of the backfield, this team will be tough to stop. Big matchup against Green Bay this week. Last Week’s Ranking: 5th

#2. Minnesota Vikings 5-0 (+350/+1100) - The Vikings are back in action after a bye week and they get right back into the fire with a matchup against the Lions at home. Last Week’s Ranking: 2nd

#1. Kansas City Chiefs 5-0 (+250/+450) - The Chiefs stayed quiet this week while Davante Adams and Amario Cooper were scooped up by the competition. Could they be waiting on an old friend, Tyreek Hill? They remain at the top because, as you should know, to be the man…you have to beat the man. The Chiefs get a tough one this week at SF. Last Week’s Ranking: 1st

Game of the Week: Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings (-2.5)

It would be interesting to see what this line would be if Hutchinson was healthy and playing. The Lions will test the Vikings’ defense with the best one-two RB punch in football and with a creative offense. The question will be, can the defense generate a pass rush without their star?
