Astralis vs. ENCE, Preview & Prediction - Free 11/13 CS:GO

Astralis, one of the best teams in the CS:GO tour at the moment, is a clear favorite in this Best of 3 encounter when they meet ENCE in the Group B upper bracket quarter-final of the IEM Beijing-Haidian 2020 Europe on Friday. The winning side will advance to the next round and will face a better team from a clash between BIG and mousesports, but the loser will get a chance to continue the tournament in the Lower bracket.

Astralis Team Stats and Latest Results

Astralis was the No.1 team in the CS:GO standings a few weeks ago, but after failing to reach the Grand final at the DreamHack Open Fall 2020, they dropped to the No.3 place. They finished that tournament in 3rd place and won $14,000 along with 2188 RMR Points, allowing the eventual winner Heroic to climb up to the top of the rankings. The Danish team was 4th at the BLAST Premier Fall Series 2020 and won $12,500 with a ticket for the BLAST Premier Fall Finals. Astralis won 11 of the previous 14 matches.

In the last three months, Astralis displayed fine performances on Overpass (80.0% win rate), Nuke (78.9%), and Inferno (75.0%), while Dust2 (33.3%) proved to be their least favorite map in this period. After dupreeh and es3tag left the team, Astralis’ current lineup is made of Xyp9x (0.94 rating), dupreeh (1.10), gla1ve (1.02), device (1.14), and Magisk (1.09). The lineup is assembled in November this year and appeared on eight maps with a record of four wins and four losses.

ENCE Team Stats and Latest Results

ENCE is in terrible form right now and following a series of bad results, they decided to take a break and make some changes in the lineup. DreamHack Open Fall 2020 was the previous tournament ENCE took part in, but they quickly ended it with a couple of defeats to North and NiP. ENCE lost seven of the last 11 games.

During the previous three months, ENCE was strong on Dust2 (80.0%) and Train (75.0%), while they failed to get a victory on Overpass and disappointed on Inferno (16.7%) and Mirage (25.0%). Aerial departed from the lineup, so ENCE’s current lineup consists of allu (1.11), sunny (0.94), doto (1.09), sergej (0.91), and Jamppi (0.95). This will be their first-ever game together.

Astralis vs. ENCE H2H Record

These rivals have met on three occasions before, and Astralis won two of those three matches, but ENCE won the most recent one at the BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Europe Showdown in June this year.

Astralis vs. ENCE Betting Preview

Both sides went through changes in the last couple of weeks; Astralis has two nee team members, while ENCE has one. That being said, both still need more time to adapt and that’s why I wouldn’t bet my money on the winner, despite the fact Astralis is a massive favorite. Considering both Best of 3 H2H duels produced a maximum of three maps, I reckon betting on Over 2.5 maps has more sense than betting on Astralis to win on low odds. You can earn way more money, and it’s not impossible Astralis will drop a map here. Go with a low stake, though.
