Belmont Stakes Odds and Post Positions
The first leg of the Triple Crown will go on Saturday as the Belmont Stakes takes place from Belmont Park. The post positions came out on Wednesday with Tiz the Law coming out as the 6-5 favorite.
Normally, the first leg would be the Kentucky Derby in the first Saturday in May, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the race was postponed until September 5. The Preakness was also postponed until Oct. 3 so that left the Belmont Stakes as the first leg of horse racing's Triple Crown.
This will not be your typical Belmont Stakes, considering there will be no spectators and the race distance was shortened from 1 1/8 miles instead of the traditional 1 1/2 miles.
The 152nd running of the Belmont Stakes will go from Belmont Park in New York on Saturday at 5:42pmET. The post positions and odds were drawn on Wednesday in the 10-horse field. The trainer and jockey are listed in parenthesis)
