They stubbled against HONORIS in their opening match 6-16 before back to back 2-0 wins over Nordavind and HONORIS to advance into the playoffs. There isn't a map that is used for competition that Complexity have a win rate of lower than 50% on, and their diverse map pool has been a reason behind much of their success.

The driving force behind Complexity is blameF and k0nfig. These two players have been solid over the past three months with an average of 1.55 kills per round while only dying 1.22 times a round. Another key point is that none of the other three players will hinder the team much, if at all. The key to victory for Complexity is to not second guess themselves. They are the better team in this contest, but they've been known for playing below their level of expectations against lesser ranked opponents.

Gambit Youngsters Preview

The Russian powerhouse Gambit Youngsters is the lower ranked team in this contest, but don't let that fool you. They are still an extremely tough team. They were able to take the short path to the playoff with a 16-14 win over North followed by a 2-0 beating of HAVU Gaming. Gambit Youngsters is really good when it comes to the map Overpass with an 84.6% win rate the last three months. They also hold a 69.2% win rate on Vertigo and 66.7% on Mirage.

Gambit Youngsters have a strong roster that can compete with anyone. Their statistical team leader is sh1ro who has an outstanding average of 0.77 kills and only 0.53 deaths per round. Ax1Le has been great too which has attributed to their success. In fact, Ax1Le has a nice average of 0.72 kills a round while being killed 0.63 per round. Gambit Youngsters could easily pull an upset in this contest, all they have to do is play their style of game and not let their stout opponent get in their head.

I like Gambit Youngsters in this contest, but I'm playing them safely. Not to take away from Complexity, but the Gambit Youngsters players are simply playing better lately. A big downfall of Complexity has been the inability to put games away and let teams hang around that shouldn't even be keeping it close. Gambit Youngsters is not a team that you can downplay, and I wouldn't be even slightly shocked if they pulled off an upset. However, I am overly confident that Gambit Youngsters will at least bank one map in this battle so I'll take the map and a half headstart for two units.
