Crazy vs. 4Zoomers Preview & Prediction - Free Dota 2 Betting Picks 7/17

Crazy and 4Zoomers will face each other in the group stage of the OGA Dota PIT Season 2: Americas. The tournament has a double-elimination format and includes eight of the best North American Dota 2 teams. It has a prize pool of $25,000 with $10,422 reserved for the first-placed team.

Crazy Preview

Crazy recently underwent a roster change when the team had to part ways with skiter. Skiter was the position 1 player on the team and his departure has already had a heavy impact on the team’s performance.

Crazy has been using hfN in the The Great American Rivalry Season 1 Division 1 as their carry player. There is no confirmation about their fifth player for the OGA DotaPIT Season 2 Online : North America.

The roster is full of talented individuals and the team has already proven its worth in other Dota 2 tournaments. Despite using stand-ins the team could stand up to the best North American Dota 2 teams. Crazy does not have heavy focus on the laning stage. Instead with hfN, the team will have to work hard to create the space for the Brazilian player.

The passive farming style gameplay is not something that the North American players are familiar with. So it will be interesting to see the mix of these players come together for the OGA DotaPIT Season 2: North America.

4Zoomers Preview

4Zoomers burst on to the North American Dota 2 scene a few months ago. The team had an impressive performance with excellent synergy and hero picks. 4Zoomers was formed in March 2020 with some prominent pub players such as Gunnar and Husky. The team finished second in the BTS Pro Series Season 2: Americas. They lost 2-3 to Quincy Crew in the grand finals, but not before a great run through the tournament’s group stage. 4Zoomers also finished a the runners-up at the ESL One Birmingham Online 2020: North America in May 2020.

4Zoomers’ players have always focused on using the meta picks to their advantage. The team has a heavy focus on the laning phase which enables its core players to have a great mid-game. Most of its matches rely on excellent mind-games and rarely do we see 4Zoomers transition well into the super-late game.

Pick: 4Zoomers ML (-102 @ Pinnacle)

The two teams have already met each other once in the recent The Great American Rivalry Season 1 Division 1. The best-of-two series ended in a tie as both the teams took one game off each other. However, 4Zoomers has looked stronger in that tournament. The team has defeated opponents like Infinity, Midas and Infamous. Meanwhile, Crazy has only tied matches against Midas and Thunder Predator. I am taking 4Zoomers to win this best-of-three series against Crazy.
