FATE Preview

HLTV World Ranking: 51st

The Bulgarian squad FATE has been somewhat inconsistent lately. Over the last three months, they hold a win rate of only 51.2% although they have been playing against tougher competition. FATE is really good on the maps Train and Overpass with a 68.8% win rate on Train and a 64.3% win rate on Overpass. Dust2 is the only other map in which they have a win rate higher than 50% on, however, which leaves some room for concern regarding FATE.

When FATE does good, it almost always comes from behind the firepower of harn and mar. These are the only two members of FATE's roster who have a positive kill to death ratios, and neither of those ratios is very impressive. The play of Zix has somewhat been a hindrance to the team in the more recent months. He's only averaged 0.53 kills per round while only dying 0.72 times a round. FATE can win this contest, they just need the right map selection mixed with a decent performance from the entire team.

Endpoint Preview

HLTV World Ranking: 32nd

The mainly British unit Endpoint is an impressive team and appears to be right on the verge of moving up a tier in competition. Over the last three months, they have a win rate of 66% and have also run into some stiff competition. Nuke and Train are the only maps in which Endpoint tend to struggle on, and they have been extremely good on Vertigo. They hold a 79.2% win rate on Vertigo, a 64.7% win rate on Inferno and a 63.9% win rate on Dust2.

The trio of CRUC1AL, Surreal, and Thomas have been the firepower behind much of Endpoint's success. These guys have averaged 2.14 kills per round while dying only 1.93 times a round over the last three months. MiGHTYMAX's play hasn't been all too outstanding lately, and Endpoint has to be careful not to let this hinder them. He's averaged only 0.57 kills per round although he's only been killed 0.63 times a round. This should be an easy win for Endpoint, they just have to not overlook FATE.

Pick: Endpoint Spread/Handicap -4.5 Rounds (-110 @ Bovada)

My money's riding with Endpoint on the spread for this contest. FATE's inconsistency has been their downfall, and Endpoint is a team in which you can't show many holes. I look for Endpoint to make quick work of FATE as they continue to be superb on almost all maps and dominate the matches that they are supposed to. Lay the standard juice with Endpoint's spread for this match and watch the cash flow as Endpoint will take care of business in this battle easily.
