Cardiac Kid (11) is the third horse to drop to the $25,000 level upon returning from a long lay off in which he finished seventh versus maiden special weight competition. Sunshine City (3) debuts out of the Wesley Ward stable and is the daughter of Creative Cause. Iris Ortiz Jr will be aboard for Sunshine City’s debut. Missing Link (4) will debut for trainer David Fawkes and have Tyler Gaffalione aboard. Darla (8) debuts for trainer Juan Alvarado with Edgard Zayas abroad. Look for Darla to exit the gate early and maintain the lead throughout but get caught at the line. Missing Link (4) to win, Exacta 4-8

Race 3 on the Gulfstream Park Thursday card is a 1-mile claiming race for 3-year olds and up with a $16,000 purse. Monmouth Dr. (6) was second on dirt two starts ago and returns to the main track dropping to the $6,250 level after finding trouble and not able to get untracked and two claimers. Crupis Pizza Dom (4) will attempt to turn this one mile on dirt after displaying speed and then fading down the homestretch. Steadily (2) with Cristian A. Miz Chaplin (3) has moved to the barn of Sandra Matier and arrives here after posting her second-straight victory in a $12,500 open claimers of 6 furlongs. Bimini (4) drops to the $16,000 level after difficult outcomes at 8 and 8 and 1/2 furlongs. Emisael Jaramillo will be aboard this shaky proposition. The eighth race at Gulfstream Park on Thursday is a six-furlong maiden claiming for 3-year-olds with a purse of $35,000. Chill Haze (7) is coming off a second-place finish after returning from a long layoff and was beaten by just a neck at this same distance and level. Fast Magic (10) drops to the $50,000 level in a debut at Gulfstream and with his breeding you can expect speed as soon as the gates open. Race 9 on Thursdays Gulfstream Park card is a 1-mile allowance optional claiming for three-year-olds and up with a purse of $41,000. Yolanda's Pride (8) is making another drop-in class and was able to do a 1:36 mile and her last race and should be considered a threat to win. Real Doozie (3) finished second after leaving until the final few strides but with a drop-in class here could be a big factor down the home stretch. Ghostly Beauty (1) raced solidly at Beyers and is likely to cash in the Exotics with a third or fourth-place finish. Yolanda’s Pride (8) to win, Exacta 8-3

Race 10 on the Gulfstream Park Thursday card is a 1-mile allowance optional claiming for 3-year-olds and with a purse of $47,000. Cuddle Kitten (7) drops down to the $50,000 level for its first start since a fourth-place finish at the $62,500 optional claimers in February. Crown and Sugar (3) is making her local debut and first start ever on dirt following a strong turf campaign. I’ll Take the Cake (1) is stretching out to the one mile in a first start since winning at seven furlongs at the $50,000 Lady Bird in February and must be considered a heavyweight.
