Gen. G vs. Triumph, Preview & Prediction - Free 9/3 CS:GO

Gen. G is a firm favorite when they take on Triumph in the group stage of the ESL Pro League Season 12 North America. Gen. G is also one of the favorites to finish this phase in the top four and secured its place in the playoffs.

Gen. G Team Stats and Latest Results

Gen. G returned to the CS:GO tour with two defeats to 100 Thieves and FURIA at the ESL One Cologne 2020 North America, and now is hoping to bounce back with a victory over Triumph. They had success at the cs_summit 6 North America, where they reached the Grand final, but couldn’t get the things going against Evil Geniuses. Still, Gen. G won $16,000 and 1875 RMR Points for the second position.

Gen. G displayed solid performances on Mirage (75.0% win rate) and Nuke (60.0%), over the last three months, but they failed to get a win on Train in six tries. They are also without a win on Dust2, while Inferno (27.3%) proved to be one of Gen. G’s least favorite maps. Their current lineup plays together since June 2020, but they weren’t very active recently; played only 32 maps with a negative record of 11 wins and 20 losses with one draw. The lineup consists of BnTeT (1.02 rating), daps (0.88), automatic (1.04), koosta (1.01), and s0m (0.97).

Triumph Team Stats and Latest Results

Triumph is not in a good form at the moment as they lost each of the previous four matches. The most recent defeats came to Evil Geniuses and Cloud9 at the ESL One Cologne 2020 North America and Triumph even had a 1-0 lead against Cloud9, but still lost that game. They lost seven of the last 11 games.

During the last three months, Triumph was unbeaten on Train but played only once on that map. They have been quite successful on Vertigo (75.0%), Nuke (64.3%), and Dust2 (63.3%), while they were below average on Inferno (30.0%) and Mirage (45.5%). Triumph’s lineup is not the same anymore as they went through some changes. Their best player, Grim (1.27 rating) joined Liquid, while curry (1.08) left for Rugratz. The current lineup consists of Spongey (0.97), Shakezullah (0.98), penny (1.08), junior (1.15), and moose (0.87).

Gen. G vs. Triumph H2H Record

These rivals have met twice before, and Gen. G won both encounters with an identical 2-1 result. The latest meeting was at the BLAST Premier Spring 2020 America Showdown.

Gen. G vs. Triumph Betting Preview

Triumph has never played with the current lineup, and that will be their biggest problem in this one. Gen. G’s form is far from being convincing, though, but they are still a better side than Triumph, and I am backing the favorites to secure a win here.
