GODSENT and BIG are facing in the Upper bracket quarter-final of the cs_summit 6 Europe, and BIG are the firm favorites in this encounter. The winner will face NiP or fnatic in the upper semi-finals. These rivals have met once so far, and BIG won that clash.
The European team GODSENT dominated in the group stage of the tournament with a couple of win over Mousesports and G2, winning both without dropping a map. GODSENT hasn’t been playing well recently as they suffered five defeats in the previous eight matches and have a 45.8% win rate over the past three months. When it comes to the maps during the same period, GODSENT is displaying the strongest performances on Overpass (77.8%) and Nuke (66.7%). On the other hand, they were disappointing on Inferno (8.3%) and Dust2 (36.4%).
BIG secured a pair of victories over FaZe in the group stage and secured their place in the playoffs. They did lose to OG with a map up, and that loss snapped an eight-game winning streak, but BIG bounced back with a 2-0 win over FazE, and have an 83.8%% win rate over the last three months. In that span, BIG is unbeaten on Train and Overpass, while their weakest results were on Mirage (68.4%).
BIG are the favorites to get a win here, but I am not sure they will win without dropping a map. GODSENT were impressive in the opening two matches at the tournament, and even though they were inferior in the only H2H meeting, I think they have a chance in this one. That’s why I am not backing BIG to cover -1.5 handicap – I am going with a win on the favorite, which is a safer option in this case. However, if you prefer betting on totals, you can try with the over at +143.
