Pro Sports can resume in Arizona on Saturday

In one of the first steps to sports returning in the country, Arizona governor Doug Ducey mentioned that sports can return starting May 16 in a press conference on Tuesday.

Ducey mentioned that professional sports can return without fans on Saturday, which includes the NBA, MLB, NHL and the NFL. They do have to implement public health protects and Center for Disease Control Guidelines, according to Ducey.

Arizona is home to the NHL's Arizona Coyotes, the NBA's Phoenix Suns, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury, MLB's Arizona Diamondbacks and the NFL's Arizona Cardinals.

Ducey added that gyms and swimming pools will be allowed to re-open on Wednesday, while the state's stay-at-home order is set to expire on Friday.

Arizona could be the inception of professional team sports returning in this country, even without fans and in a safe manner.
