UFC 268: Usman vs Covington II - Card Preview - 11/06/21

The UFC is heading to Madison Square Garden for an absolutely stacked Pay-Per-View card this Saturday, November 6.

Two titles are on the line, both involve rematches. In the main event, Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington will lock horns for the welterweight title. The first fight ended up as an absolute war, which saw Usman emerge victorious via 5th round TKO in the last minute of the fight. Since then, Covington defeated Tyron Woodley and Usman beat Jorge Masvidal twice (once by brutal KO) and Gilbert Burns.

In the co-main event, Rose Namajunas takes on Weili Zhang for the women’s strawweight title. This one is an immediate rematch as both ladies matched up against each other last April. That fight saw Namajunas snatch the belt from the Chinese superstar via head kick knockout in the first round.

If both fights are even half as good as the first outings then this pay-per-view card will still deliver. And in the improbable situation where they are snoozers, we still get human highlight reel, Justin Gaethje throwing down against Michael Chandler. Rounding out the main card has two guys who land over 7 significant strikes per minute in Burgos and Quarantillo, plus future hall of famer, Frankie Edgar, returns to action to kick off the main card against Marlon Vera.
