ViCi Gaming vs. Beyond 6/6 Preview & Prediction - Free CS:GO Betting Picks

Map Spread: N/A

Total: 2.5 Maps

There's a spot to the Grand Final at stake in this DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: Asia contest, and it should be an exciting one between ViCi Gaming and Beyond. This will be the final contest scheduled as a best-of-three-map contest. The winner of this battle will move into the Grand Final to take on TYLOO, a match in which TYLOO will enter with a one map advantage. The loser of this contest won't leave completely empty-handed though as both teams are locked into a paying position already.

ViCi Gaming Preview

HLTV World Ranking: 67th

ViCi Gaming opened this tournament with an impressive 2-0 win over Lucid Dream, but they were unable to keep that momentum going. They dropped their next match with TYLOO 2-1, falling into the lower bracket where they stand now. ViCi Gaming hasn't lost a match on the maps Nuke and Inferno in the past three months, and they have a 75% win rate on both Train and Overpass as well. Mirage is the only map in which they've struggled on lately with a dismal 28.6% win rate on this map during the same time period.

JamYoung, aumaN and Kaze make up a pretty strong core for ViCi Gaming. Over the past three months, they've averaged 2.28 kills with only 1.85 deaths per round. Advent's play will be something to watch as the 27-year-old CS:GO vet has seen better days. He's only averaged 0.5 kills per round while dying 0.63 times a round the last three months. Advent's best quality is his experience. He's good as an IGL (In-Game Leader) and managing the team's economy. The key to ViCi Gaming winning will be to stick to their normal approach of a strategic attack. If they do this, they shouldn't have many problems in this contest.

Beyond Preview

HLTV World Ranking: 96th

Beyond ran into a brick wall in their opening match of this event, being completely dominated by TYLOO 2-0. They regrouped nicely with a 2-0 blanking of Lucid Dream last round to advance and keep their hopes alive. Beyond's best map was Cobblestone before it was removed from competitive play. Since then, Vertigo and Train have by far been their best maps with win rates of over 60% on both of these maps. Overpass and Inferno have been their worst maps over history with win rates close to 40%.

The statistical team leader of Beyond is Olivia, and he will be heavily relied on. Over the past three months, he has averaged 0.77 kills per round while only dying 0.65 times a round. They have a few players with kill to death ratios around one, and qqGOD could potentially carry the team also. Over the last three months, qqGOD has averaged a nice 0.73 kills per round, but he needs to clean his game up some as he has also been killed 0.7 times a round during this same period. The key to victory for Beyond is that they can't rely on the play of Olivia and qqGOD or else this will be an uphill battle.

Pick: Under 2.5 Maps (-215 @ Bovada)(1 unit)

If you can find a cheaper way to play this, then shoot for it. Either way, ViCi Gaming is going to win this contest, and I'm 100% sure it will be by a score of 2-0. Beyond had a great showing against Lucid Dream, but ViCi Gaming is on a whole other level. This ViCi Gaming squad doesn't have many holes, and their opponent has quite a few glaring ones. Olivia is a strong player for Beyond, but things get rough behind him for the team. ViCi Gaming's only real downfall is the player Advent, but even he has shown plenty of games where he still has his mojo. I'm sure some books will release a spread or perhaps an exact score prop with less juice involved to side with ViCi, but until then I will play the under for one unit at a stout price.
