The PLAY: Chicago Cubs -1.5 (105) Action
"Hey Hey!" So might have said long-ago play-by-play man Jack Brickhouse of the Cubs' current win streak at Wrigley Field, which reached ten in Saturday's 2-0 blanking of the D-backs behind 7 solid innings from Shota Imanaga. Though they're still waiting in Chicago for Sunday starter Matthew Boyd (7.00 ERA) to flash some of his form from 2025 when he recorded a surprise 14-8 mark.
Meanwhile, it's gone a bit pear-shaped on this road trip for Arizona, outscored 36-14 while losing four of five, and Sunday starter Merrill Kelly (9.20 ERA, 2.25 WHIP in three starts...sheesh!) remains in a deep funk. Play Cubs on Run Line
