The PLAY: New York Mets -1.5 (105) Action
The Mets are starting to do things like rallying from three runs down in the ninth inning vs. the Yankees on Sunday to scoring 10 runs in the 12th inning last night at Washington. That’s now wins in six of seven and as they creep closer to .500, and capable of winning in a more conventional manner tonight behind Nolan McLean (2.92 ERA, 0.96 WHIP), who’s been Carlos Mendoza’s best rotation piece.
Meanwhile, journeyman Foster Griffin’s brief moment in the sun for the Nats staff might have ended last Thursday when lambasted by the Reds, who scored 9 runs off of him in just 4 1/3 IP. Play Mets on Run Line
