The PLAY: Milwaukee Brewers 108 Action
If the Brewers were looking to make a statement the past two weeks, they’re doing a pretty good job. Three-game sweeps of the Yankees and Cubs, winning 2 of 3 from the Padres, and last night’s 5-1 win over the Dodgers suggest as much. Pat Murphy’s reliable bullpen also means the Brew Crew can live with four or so serviceable innings from starters like tonight’s Robert Gasser.
Meanwhile, we need more evidence than one good effort vs. the slumping Angels that LA starter Roki Sasaki is back on course, as his ERA had been hovering near 6 before running into the downtrodden Halos last weekend. Play Brewers on Money Line
