The PLAY: Seattle Mariners -130 Action
A brief spark shown by the disappointing Tigers earlier this week in St Pete, sweeping out the Rays as a heretofore somnambulant offense rocked for 25 runs across the surprising three-game uprising. Though Friday starter Framber Valdez has yet to participate in any upward trajectory, as Detroit lost all five of his May efforts while he recorded a shaky 5.93 ERA.
Speaking of upward trajectory, that’s been the Mariners lately after winning eight of their last nine to bolt into the AL West lead, and Bryan Woo (on the hill tonight) shutting out Arizona on just 2 hits thru 7 IP in last Sunday’s 5-1 Seattle win. Play Mariners on ML
